The TFS Migration and Synchronisation Toolkit provides a framework to import or synchronise source-code and work-items into TFS. In this session William Bartholomew will explain the architecture of this toolkit and demonstrate how to write the necessary adapters to integrate your existing internal systems with TFS. He will also demonstrate how you can use the toolkit to bulk create work items.

William has been developing software solutions for 9 years using a variety of Microsoft technologies, but primarily the .NET Framework and SQL Server. He was a technical reviewer for the 2nd Edition of Steve McConnell's Code Complete as well as Volume 2 of Brad and Tamara Abram's .NET Standard Library Annotated Reference. He is also a member of the Microsoft User Interface Framework Advisory Council. William's primary focus at TechnologyOne is on improving developer productivity through education, processes and tools, and implementing Visual Studio Team System is a key aspect of this.
